Operations Leadership Team
Mike Brewer, NALP®, CAM®, ARM®
Vice President, Operations
Mike Brewer comes to RADCO Residential from Mills Properties and brings over 21 years of experience in the multifamily space. At both Mills Properties and Equity Residential before that, he enjoyed a long tenure, filling multiple roles from Leasing Consultant to General Manager to Senior Regional Manager, and Vice President of Operations. Through his passion for people, technology, and real estate, Mike himself has won numerous industry awards and led teams that have won seven “Property Management Company of the Year” awards through various organizations. He’s an active contributor to industry-related publications such as Units Magazine, Multifamily Insiders, PropertyManagement.com, and more.
In addition to his day job, Mike is pursuing his CPM designation. He also finds time for hiking, running, scuba diving, kayaking, blogging and vlogging, and mentoring young business leaders.
Steve Duceatt, CAM®, CAPS®
Director of Maintenance & Facilities
Steve Duceatt joined RADCO Residential in October 2017. As the Director of Maintenance & Facilities, Steve oversees maintenance operations across the entire RADCO portfolio. He is a multifamily professional with 24 years of experience in the industry. Steve began his career as a Maintenance Technician, and through dedication, hard work, and perseverance, he has progressed to national operations positions with several major industry players.
Steve is considered an industry expert in facilities and maintenance operations, as well as construction and renovation. He has a passion for leading, developing, and training service teams. He has earned several industry certifications, including CAM, CAPS, Asbestos Class III, CPO and EPA 608 Universal.
Kimberly Peavy, CAM®
Director of Operations – Georgia, Tennessee
As Director of Operations, Kim Peavy draws on her vast experience in the multifamily field to oversee operations of RADCO’s apartment communities in Georgia and Tennessee.
Prior to joining RADCO Residential, Kim served as an Area Vice President for a major third party property management company. She has earned several industry awards for outstanding leadership, revenue growth, and property development. Kim is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and MLA. She is currently pursuing her CPM designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Lee Schafer, CAPS®
Director of Operations – Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina
Lee Schafer has spent over 18 years in the management of conventional multifamily housing. She began her career in property management as a leasing consultant with Johnson Development Associates and quickly worked her way up to property manager. Lee was promoted to Director of Marketing and Training and successfully rebranded the entire multifamily portfolio and created their training program in 2007. She also worked diligently as a senior property manager and regional manager for Greystar.
Lee’s experience in different roles as well as rehab and renovation work has given her a wide range of talents and accomplishments. She has won several awards including Greystar’s Core Value Award for Professionalism. Lee obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and holds her South Carolina Property Manager License and CAPS Designation.
Regional Manager – Oklahoma
Janie Bailey joined RADCO Residential in October 2017 as the Regional Manager overseeing our Oklahoma portfolio. She has over 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry, managing a variety of portfolio class assets. Janie began her career as a leasing consultant in Dallas and worked her way up through several management companies to her previous role as an Area Vice President in Oklahoma.
Janie is an active member of the Apartment Association of Central Oklahoma, where she has held several positions, including the Board of Directors, Vice President, and President of the local and state associations. In her spare time, Janie loves to spend time with her three children and three dogs, and often volunteers with local organizations that help the underprivileged.
Regional Manager – Georgia
Cornelious Callaway is one of our Regional Managers for the Atlanta area. He comes to RADCO Residential with more than 15 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Having started as a leasing specialist and working his way up to a corporate regional manager, Cornelious knows just what it takes to successfully manage a community. His favorite part of the job is helping residents and his fellow team members.
Cornelious was recruited to RADCO Residential after excelling as a manager at Ashford Druid Hills, and he now oversees a portfolio of our Atlanta properties. He brings unique insight and an energetic attitude to everything he does. In his free time, he enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and shopping!
Regional Manager – Florida
Erica Fuller joined RADCO Residential in April 2016, bringing 16 years’ experience in sales and 10 years of management experience in the property management and real estate industry. Formerly a Senior Community Manager with RADCO, Erica was promoted to a Regional Manager, overseeing our Florida properties. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that the portfolio goals and strategies are implemented according to the business plan.
Erica is currently completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Strayer University. She enjoys traveling, cooking, singing, family time, and volunteering.
Regional Manager – Georgia, Tennessee
As a Regional Manager for several of our Georgia and Tennessee properties, Dwayne Griffin is responsible for overseeing the operational and financial performance of his region. After building a solid background in all levels of property management, including as a certified trainer, Dwayne joined RADCO Residential in August 2016. He has a true passion for training and developing future leaders in the multifamily industry, and he is motivated by the spirit of energy and excitement as RADCO continues to grow.
Dwayne graduated from Herzing University in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelor’s in business management degree. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and trying new recipes. He also loves listening to music, watching good movies, and staying fit.
Regional Manager – Texas
Deborah Holcombe joined RADCO Residential in February 2017 and oversees our Houston and San Antonio properties. She has over 30 years of multifamily property and asset management experience with owner operated, REIT, and fee managed portfolios. Deborah’s diverse asset background includes new construction, lease up, and renovated conventional and tax credit communities throughout the United States. Whether maximizing operations and returns on stabilized assets or completing due diligence or disposition activities, Deborah’s strength as a strategic, forward thinking leader positions management teams to deliver strong results.
Deborah received her BA in Marketing and Business from the University of Houston and is currently a CPM candidate. She is active in the Houston Apartment Association and is involved in numerous apartment industry volunteer and educational programs. Outside of work, Deborah leads a very active lifestyle; you can often find her hiking in the mountains or running a half marathon.
Ashley Jones, CAM®
Regional Manager – Georgia
Ashley Jones has over 18 years of experience in the multifamily industry, including student housing, lease up of new construction, military housing and conventional assets. She began her career as a part-time leasing consultant at Georgia Southern University, where she graduated with a double major in business administration and marketing. She later continued her career with several other large companies such as Davis Development, JMG Realty, Lincoln Property Company and Cottonwood Residential.
Ashley’s strengths include team building through training and development, marketing, rent growth and improving challenging assets. Ashley holds a CAM designation through NAA and has earned a BA and MBA in Business Administration. She is also an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association.
Regional Manager – Colorado, Georgia
Leslie Thaxton joined RADCO Residential in 2016, bringing over 15 years in the multifamily industry with a track record of successfully managing Class C-A assets. She brings experience in acquisitions, due diligence, interior/exterior renovations, and large capital improvements. Leslie oversees our Colorado assets and a portion of our Atlanta portfolio, ensuring that these properties meet their financial goals and operational performance objectives.
Previously, Leslie was a Regional Manager with Hammond Residential and Panther Properties. Her experience has been managing in the Atlanta market as well as a multi-state portfolio.
